IMTI is a consulting and training firm whose mission is to contribute toward the organization and management development of both governmental and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). It also offers its clients an environment to engage in important discussions on civic issues as they relate to Lebanon and the Middle East as a whole. Additionally, it functions as an intermediary, providing the expertise needed to create valuable links between citizens, businesses, NGOs, and governments. The International Management and Training Institute ( IMTI ) was established in 1988 as a division of the Young Mens Christian Association ( YMCA ) of Lebanon to serve the organizational development and management needs of both the public and private sectors in Lebanon and the Middle East. Today, it is a stand-alone not-for-profit civil company closely affiliated with the YMCA . After close to 20 years of service, IMTI has established a reputation as a business partner who understands the needs and challenges companies face, and it serves as a catalyst for change.
