IMTI is a capacity building (consulting and training) firm whose mission is to effectively contribute toward the management development and organization of both governmental and non-governmental organizations.  As part of IMTI training, clients engage in important discussions on civic issues as they pertain to Lebanon and the Arab World in general.  Additionally, IMTI functions as an intermediary, providing the expertise needed to create valuable links between citizens, businesses, NGOs, and governments.

IMTI adopts a strategy to develop the capabilities of individuals and organizations to capacity.  Special emphasis is placed on promoting sustainable human development, democracy and citizenship.  In order to contribute toward building a democratic culture, where social justice, respect for human rights, tolerance, solidarity and empowerment are laid down as cornerstones within our societies, the following strategies are utilized:

  1. Supporting Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), especially NGOs, in building their institutional capacity and human resources development and in expanding their financial resources base.
  2. Supporting the promotion and enhancement of partnerships among the stakeholders, especially parliaments, local governments and NGOs, in addition to enhancing civil society’s role in influencing public policies.
  3. Promoting the principles of good governance, transparency and accountability of the different parties (governmental agencies, legislative boards, NGOs, private sector institutions, municipalities).
  4. Collectively working to promote viable economic development projects, creating job opportunities and improving of productivity as a way to ultimately combat poverty.

IMTI targeted different Lebanese, Arab and International Not-for-Profit, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Private Sector Firms (Industries, Hospitality, Services and Commercial, etc.), Universities, Local Authorities (Municipalities), Governmental Organizations and Ministries, Legislative Bodies, in addition to International Bodies and United Nations Organizations.
